Kadyrov assassination organisers 'found'
Chechnya's Deputy Prime Minister Ramzan Kadyrov claims to know the names of all organisers and executors of the terrorist act in Grozny on 9 May 2004.
"I am 100% aware of who did it, who exploded, who had carried the mine in and how that had been planned. We have disclosed that completely. One of the executors of the terrorist act is still alive, this is a man from among those who planted the bomb and who were directly involved in committing the terrorist act. The rest, except for the one who ordered it, Basayev, are dead," Kadyrov told journalists in Tsentoroi.
"We will seize them and announce that officially," Interfax cites.
In saying that, he mentioned though he had never claimed responsibility for the investigation. "I have never said I undertake investigation. The prosecutor's office handles that by the law," he emphasised.
The terrorist act in Grozny's Dynamo stadium on 9 May 2004 led to Chechnya's President Akhmad Kadyrov, State Council head Hussein Isayev, and several other people dying.
