In Kuban, observers register ballot stuffing and forged applications for home voting
The election commission for the Krasnodar Territory has reported on the absence of violations during the elections. Meanwhile, the Communists and independent observers have claimed stuffing of ballots and other violations at the polling stations.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on September 10, residents of the Krasnodar Territory elected members of local legislative assembly.
According to the information of the election commission for the Krasnodar Territory, the turnout at the election of members to the Legislative Assembly of the sixth convocation in the Krasnodar Territory reached 38.61%, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent reports.
"No serious violations were registered during the voting. All complaints filed to the election commission were carefully checked, and they were not confirmed," reported Alexei Chernenko, the chairman of the election commission.
Meanwhile, at the regional headquarters for the Communist Party of the Russian Federation (CPRF), the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was informed about mass violations at the polling stations.
In particular, the CPRF's regional headquarters claimed its observers had registered stuffing of ballots and falsification of applications for home voting.
In total, the turnout in Yeisk did not exceed 20%. However, it is likely to be raised due to soldiers and officers from a military unit, who were sent to the polling stations. This was told to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent by Alexander Korovainy, a self-nominated candidate from Yeisk.
"They were pre-registered at the place of their stay and brought in columns to the polling stations by order of their superiors, and they were recommended who to vote for. We were told of all that by one of the soldiers," Alexander Korovainy reported.
