Dagestani villager accuses law enforcers of labour exploitation
A resident of the Kaitag District of Dagestan has complained that law enforcers had forced him to do repairs to the building where the police station is located; they groundlessly compiled a protocol; against him for drunk driving, and sent the case to court.
According to the villager, he went with his friends by car to a neighbouring village for hay. He has specified that his friend was driving the car. The police stopped the car and took the villager to the police station, where they pressured him and demanded that he confess to drunk driving. Then, according to the villager, law enforcers offered him to do minor repairs to the building where the police station is located. In exchange, they promised not to file a protocol against him for drunk driving, the public entitled vestidagestan on the Instagram* has informed.
The villager from the Kaitag District said that he had been repairing the building for two days and that he had not been provided with any food the entire time, which is why he ate nothing. Despite the fact that he was doing repairs, the law enforcers still sent the material collected against him to court, which deprived him of the right to drive a car for two years, sentenced him to forced labour for 240 hours, and confiscated his car.
"The police wouldn't defend ordinary people and wouldn't restore the public order; on the contrary, they create disorder," the user _azulphia_ has noted.
