Coordinator of Navalny's office detained in Volgograd

In the course of the rally in Volgograd, policemen detained Alexei Volkov, the coordinator of the local Alexei Navalny's office.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that today Volgograd hosted a rally with the participation of Alexei Navalny. According to various sources, it was from 1000 to 1800 people strong.

The detention of Volkov was announced today by Alexei Navalny in his address to the rally, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent reports.

"The police have detained Alexei Volkov, when he came to the square to see how many people had gathered to the rally," Ruslan Sharafutdinov, the press secretary of Alexei Navalny, told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent, adding that he knew no other details.
