Militants' hideout discovered in Dagestan

A hideout with a grenade launcher, a grenade, and dozens of rounds, discovered in the Shamil District of Dagestan, had been arranged by the militants killed in 2017, reported the Ministry Internal Affairs (MIA).

According to the law enforcement agencies, more than 70 rounds were seized from the hiding discovered by the police during the operation "Arms". The hiding was arranged by members of illegal armed formations (IAFs) "liquidated in a special operation in 2017," reports the website for the MIA's Chief Department for the North-Caucasian Federal District (NCFD).

According to the "Caucasian Knot", in 2017, the counterterrorist operation (CTO) legal regime was introduced in the Shamil District only once, on October 10. The National Antiterrorist Committee (NAC) reported on two killed militants, members of the "Shamil" grouping.
