Bombing investigation - new details
Law enforcers have identified the man who was in the car blown up on 19 July in the village of Znamenskoye, Chechnya's Nadterechny district, the Caucasian Knot correspondent was told at the Chechen Interior Ministry. The police hold the man was killed right before the explosion.
"We suppose the man in the UAZ car was Aleksey Semenenko from the village of Novoshchedrinskaya, Chechnya's Shelkovskaya district. Locals say gunmen in camouflage uniform, who presented themselves as officers of law enforcement agencies, took him away in an unknown direction on 13 July. Aleksey's relatives have already identified him," the Chechen police officer claims.
The terror attack in Znamenskoye killed 15 people.
