Police quell unauthorised picket
The Baku police quelled an attempt to hold an unauthorised picket in front of the private television and radio broadcasting company Lider, undertaken by activists of the opposition party People's Front of Azerbaijan. About fifty party activists tried to hold a picket demanding that preparation of "slanderous and false materials about the opposition in Azerbaijan and in particular about PFA leader Ali Kerimli" should be stopped, Interfax quotes. The police detained some picketers, but they were released later.
