Azerbaijan reports shelling civilians on front line

Today, a truck has come under fire in the Karabakh conflict zone. The truck was transporting Azerbaijani meliorators who arrived to repair an artesian well in the village of Chemenli, the authorities of the Agdam District report. The Ministry of Defence (MoD) for Nagorno-Karabakh rejected accusations of shelling civilians.

Within two years after the aggravation of the Karabakh conflict in April 2016, shelling was not ceased even for a day, reports the infographics prepared by the "Caucasian Knot".

According to an official of the executive power for the Agdam District, a truck was fired "from Armenian positions." The people who arrived in the village to repair an artesian well did not suffer, but the truck was damaged.

The Ministry of Defence for Azerbaijan treated the incident as a "provocation prepared by Armenia."

The information about the shelling of civilians in the Agdam District is false, reports the website of the Nagorno-Karabakh MoD.
