Azerbaijan accuses Armenia of shelling ten villages

During the past day, the Armenian armed forces 102 times violated the ceasefire in the conflict zone, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defence (MoD) reports today.

According to the Azerbaijani MoD, the Armenian side shelled the Azerbaijani positions at the villages of Kokhnegyshlag, Gaimagly, Ferekhli, Ashagy Askipara, Mezem, Gyzylgadjyly, Bala Jafarli, Mundjuglu, Gayali, Zamanly, and at the nameless heights in the Gadabay District.

Besides, cases of shelling were also registered from the Karabakh side, the Azerbaijani MoD reports on its website today.

By 8:30 a.m. Moscow time on July 6, officials from the Armenian and Nagorno-Karabakh MoDs did not comment on the above statements of the Azerbaijani side on their websites.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on July 5, Azerbaijan accused Armenia of 90 cases of shelling per day, while on the day before of 98 cases of shelling. On June 30, Nagorno-Karabakh, which runs its own calculation of ceasefire violations, accused Azerbaijan of 150 cases of shelling during the week from June 24 to June 30.
