Gadjimagomed Guseinov appointed Dagestani Vice-Premier
Gadjimagomed Guseinov, the Director of the Department of Budget Policy in Economy Sectors of the Russian Ministry of Finance, has been appointed to the post of the acting Deputy Chairman of the Government of Dagestan (acting Vice Prime Minister).
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that Ramazan Aliev, Vice-Premier, was dismissed on July 4; a search was conducted in his house, and he was accused of abuse of powers.
Aliev has confessed to the fact that he had ordered to service, at the expense of the state budget and in the state-owned garage, a private armoured limousine of the head of Dagestan. He is also ready to repay the caused damages of 14.1 million roubles. The Aliev's intent to compensate for the damage to the budget is caused by his desire to minimize the punishment and points out the discrepancy of his official incomes with the real ones, journalists and a political analyst have stated.
The decree on Gadjimagomed Guseinov's appointment was signed today by the head of the republic, Vladimir Vasiliev.
Guseinov is a native of Dagestan, a graduate from the Dagestan State University. Since 2001 he worked in the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation, and was appointed to the post of the above Ministry's Department in 2016, the RIA "Dagestan" points out.
Also on July 23, Nezir Guseinov was appointed as acting director of the newly-formed Committee on Architecture and City Planning.
