Kadyrov ignores complaints about tortures of Chechens in Russian colonies

Within a week, the authorities of Chechnya failed to react publicly to the appeal of two women from Chechnya to Ramzan Kadyrov, in which they complained about inhuman treatment of their relatives kept in Russian colonies.

The women's appeals to Ramzan Kadyrov, dated July 21 and 23, were spread among users of the WhatsApp Messenger last week. Women asked the head of the republic to influence the situation with their relatives tortured in colonies of Mordovia and the Volgograd Region, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent reports.

As of today, there has been no public reaction of Chechen authorities to the above appeals of residents of Chechnya. As of 00:40 a.m. Moscow time on July 31, there is no information about the complaints of relatives of Tepsuev and Alkhanov either on the website of the Chechen Ombudsperson, or on the website of the head of the republic, or in Ramzan Kadyrov's Telegram channel.

Meanwhile, the office of the Chechen head and the government told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that checks are being held of the above women's appeals, spread via the WhatsApp Messenger.
