In Magas, organizing committee invite protesters to take a break

Organizers of a rally against the change in the border between Ingushetia and Chechnya offered protestors to interrupt the action to prepare the World Congress of the Ingush people.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on September 26, Ramzan Kadyrov and Yunus-Bek Evkurov signed the agreement on securing the new border between Chechnya and Ingushetia. Starting from October 4, the capital of Ingushetia hosts the around-the-clock mass rally against the change of the border. Today, the authorities of Ingushetia have sanctioned the protest action for the period from October 31 to November 2.

In Magas, participants of the protest action demand the referendum on the border issue and the resignation of the republic's leader, who signed the border agreement with Chechnya.

Members of the organizing committee have noted it is "not efficient" anymore to stand on an unsanctioned rally.

In turn, the Ingush Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) has announced that law enforcers do not intend to disperse the protest action in Magas.
