Dagestani native arrested in case on Amina Okueva's murder
In Kiev, the court arrested for two months Igor Redkin, a native of Kaspiysk, who was suspected of killing Amina Okueva.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on January 12, Arsen Avakov, Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, announced that the police detained members of a criminal grouping, one of which members was suspected of organizing an assassination attempt on Adam Osmaev and the murder of his wife Amina Okueva.
The car with Adam Osmaev and Amina Okueva was shelled near the village of Glevakha near Kiev on October 30, 2017. As a result of the attack, Okueva died on the spot, and Osmaev was wounded.
Adam Osmaev, who was accused of plotting an assassination attempt on Russian President Vladimir Putin, claimed the "Russian trace" in the murder of his wife. The Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of Ukraine suggested that Russian secret services or supporters of the leader of Chechnya could be involved in the attack.
The Kiev court arrested Igor Redkin, suspected of killing Amina Okueva, for two months until March 11, without the possibility of being released on bail, the RIA "Novosti" reported on January 14.
According to investigators, Igor Redkin is a native of Kaspiysk. For a long time he lived in Ukraine, where he was engaged in IT business. The police suggest that Igor Redkin was a member of an organized criminal grouping engaged in contract killings and other violent crimes in Kiev and the Kiev Region, the "RBC-Ukraine" reports.
