Chechen social network users refuse to accept apologies from Telegram channel's authors
Four more natives of Chechnya publicly apologized for their posts on a Telegram channel. Their repentance did not reassure Instagram users who found offensive posts unacceptable.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on April 7, a video appeared on WhatsApp in which a resident of the Achkhoi-Martan District apologized for his posts on the "Osal nakh 95" (Empty People) Telegram channel.
A young man with the nickname Jordi confessed that he was the creator of the "Osal nakh 95" Telegram channel. "In this group, people wrote all kinds of unscrupulous things about religion and about the authorities. Then I thought that it was impossible to identify an author of posts on Telegram," the young man explained.
"I created the 'Holidays' group on Telegram in the hope that I would not be identified. I posted other people's photos there and posted some inadmissible things also. I committed an act not worth of a man, and I thought I would never be identified," said Zaur Nataev from the Shelkovsky District.
User Noctis, another member of the "Osal nakh 95" Telegram channel, reported that he was brought from Saint Petersburg. "I wrote comments under other people's photos, about the padishah (Ramzan Kadyrov), and jokes about Allah. What I did is not permissible," the man said.
In many comments, users found the out-of-court reprisal against the detainees acceptable.
By their actions, the young people disgraced themselves and their relatives and friends, believes Madina, an employee of a Chechen public institution.
Let us remind you that the "Osal nakh 95" Telegram channel became known after on March 11, apologies of a young man who introduced himself as Marat Tsumaev were posted on Instagram. He apologized for writing "inappropriate things" about women on the Telegram channel.
