Georgy Guev's fellow countrymen rally in his support in Vladikavkaz

Residents of Vladikavkaz, who were denied a motor rally in support of Georgy Guev, a native of North Ossetia, accused of financing terrorism, made a photo with posters "I/We Guev Georgy".

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that Georgy Guev was detained in Moscow on May 16, 2019, and arrested. Investigators believe that in 2015-2019, Guev raised money to his bank card for militants of the "Islamic State" (IS or ISIL, a terrorist organization banned in Russia by the court), as well as for Israil Akhmednabiev, the founder of the "Muhajirun" Islamic Foundation, who was declared wanted within a terrorism case. Guev himself denies his guilt.

On July 11, the residents of Vladikavkaz not indifferent to Georgy Guev's fate, held a flash mob in his support, taking photos with the posters "I/We Guev Georgy", the blogger, Alik Pukhaev, has reported. According to his version, this action became an alternative to the motor rally that had been planned on that day, but not sanctioned by the Mayor of Vladikavkaz.

At least eight car owners took part in the flash mob, as follows from the information posted in the "avto15plus" page on the Instagram.
