Chechen MIA head's video addressed to US Secretary of State ridiculed in social networks

Ruslan Alkhanov, the head of the Chechen Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA), armed with hand-held grenade launchers, has stated, imitating Ramzan Kadyrov, who occurred under US, to the US Secretary of State that he "accepted the battle." Instagram users have treated the Minister's behaviour as frivolous.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that Chechen authorities initiated a flash mob in social networks in support of Kadyrov, who occurred under new US sanctions for human rights violations. Kadyrov posted a photo depicting him with machine guns in his hands. "Pompeo, we accept the battle!" Kadyrov wrote under the photo.

The video in which the head of the Chechen MIA declares a "sanction" to Michael Pompeo was posted on the Instagram.

Lechi, an activist of one of the NGOs, has treated the reaction of Chechen authorities to sanctions as "childish behaviour".

"Kadyrov and his entourage live in their own world, where people can be frightened with a machine gun or a grenade launcher," said Marina, a teacher.
