In the Urus-Martan District of Chechnya, a hiding with firearms was found and liquidated, the National Guard of Russia reported.

The hiding was found in the vicinity of the Shalazhi village, and it contained an improvised explosive device (IED), firearms, and ammunition, the press service for the National Guard of Russia reported.

The hiding was discovered by fighters of the Akhmat-Khadji Kadyrov regiment together with FSB agents during search activities, and the hiding was presumably arranged by criminals several years ago, the edition "Chechen-Info" reported on August 18.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on July 14, another hiding with ammunition was found in the vicinity of the Gimri tunnel in the Untsukul District of Dagestan, and it was arranged by a militant who was liquidated in 2015.
