Yerevan protesters get tents ready for provincial activists

Two additional tents will be set up near the parliament building in Yerevan for activists from the regions of Armenia, said the opposition's spokesman. About 150 activists stayed overnight in the tent camp.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on February 25, Pashinyan's opponents set up a tent camp near the building of the Armenian Parliament by blocking Bagramyan Avenue, and since March 9, protesters keep blocking the main entrances and exits of the building.

Near the building of the Armenian Parliament, Bagramyan Avenue and Demirchyan Street remain blocked today, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent, who visited the venue of the protest action, has reported.

About 150 activists spent the last night in tents; there were no incidents at night, Gor Sargsyan, a member of the Youth Wing of the ARF "Dashnaktsutyun" Party, who also spent the night in a tent, told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent. "People stayed in the street peacefully, the police have controlled the situation," he said.

"We plan to set up two more tents for activists from Armenian regions, who contacted us and decided to directly support the protesters against Nikol Pashinyan," the activist has added.
