Peacemakers ensure delivery of humanitarian aid to Nagorno-Karabakh
Accompanied by peacemakers, the residents of the village of Noragyukh in Nagorno-Karabakh received humanitarian aid in the form of basic necessities; and the local outpatient clinic received equipment for providing emergency medical care, the Russian Ministry of Defence (MoD) has informed.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that by March 24, peacemakers had ensured the passage of nine columns with construction materials to the Kelbadjar District for the restoration of residential houses and social facilities.
The aid was collected by Russian public organizations and charitable foundations. Peacemakers have drawn up, in cooperation with the local administration, lists of residents who need help. "In accordance with the list, we have provided more than 100 essential items to those in greatest need. Besides, large families will receive humanitarian aid," said Igor Sivakov, the head of the Centre for Humanitarian Response of the Russian peacemaking contingent.
In particular, cots, blankets, pillows and gas burners for cooking were handed over to Noragyukh villagers.
