Resident of Chechnya publicly apologizes for words about forced vaccination

Vakha Kagermanov from the village of Goity has recorded a video in which he admitted that his statement that those who refused from vaccination against coronavirus would be deprived of their pensions was a lie. Instagram users expressed compassion with the man.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that in Chechnya, in January, employees of budget-funded organizations faced demands to get vaccinated against coronavirus, otherwise they risk to be fired.

Kagermanov has publicly apologized for spreading the fake news. His video appeal, posted on the Instagram eldit_net, ends with the words of Mokhmad-Emi Akhmadov, the manager of the Chechen branch of the Russian Pension Fund: "Vaccination is every citizen's voluntary decision; and it has nothing to do with the payment of pensions."

This is not the only example of a message about the coercion to get vaccinated, the reader of the public farsh_313 has pointed out.
