Hunger-striking Elene Khoshtariya faint twice from weakness
Elene Khoshtariya, the leader of the oppositional "Droa" Party, will stop her hunger strike, when she knows for sure that Mikheil (Mikhail) Saakashvili is out of danger, the spokesperson of the "Droa" Party has stated.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that in the morning on November 3, in the parliament building, Elene Khoshtariya went on a hunger strike demanding the transfer Mikhail Saakashvili, the third Georgian President, to a civilian hospital.
Ms Khoshtariya will end her hunger strike only when she knows for sure that Mikhail Saakashvili is out of danger, and she expects to receive the information about this from those whom she trusts – the Saakashvili's advocate and the country's Ombudsperson, Nino Goguadze, the official representative of the "Droa" Party, has stated.
"Elene Khoshtariya lost consciousness twice today from weakness and, while falling down, she hit her head on the floor. We don't know whether she has a concussion, but she refuses to do a tomography at hospital. Tomorrow, we want to somehow persuade her and take her to hospital, and after the examination, to return her back to the parliament," Nino Goguadze told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent on November 8.
