An Armenian soldier’s body found near border with Azerbaijan
The Ministry of Defence (MoD) of Armenia reported about the death of conscript soldier Suren Avetisyan. The body of a 20-year-old soldier with a head wound was found at a combat post near the border with Azerbaijan.
The investigation is underway to fully clarify the circumstances of the incident. Military officials expressed their condolences to relatives and colleagues of the deceased soldier, the MoD of Armenia reports on its official website.
The “Caucasian Knot” has also reported that 29-year-old soldier Gevork Avetyan died in mid-November as a result of violation of the rules for handling firearms.
