Activists of Chechen Diaspora in Europe speak in support of Ukraine
The Ukrainian Diaspora has held actions in Austria and Germany calling on European politicians to support Ukraine. Members of local Chechen communities have supported the participants.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on February 18, the heads of the self-proclaimed DPR and LPR announced evacuation of their residents to the Rostov Region. Authorities of the regions of Southern Russia announced their readiness to accept refugees from Donbass.
On February 19, members of the Chechen Diaspora in Europe took part in anti-war rallies organized by the Ukrainian Diaspora. Actions were held, in particular, in Austria and Germany, the "Kavkaz.Realii"* writes.
The rally in Graz was held under the motto "Solidarity with Ukraine". Its participants called on European politicians to help Ukraine and take action against the leadership of the Russian Federation. About 250 participants came to the similar action held in Vienna.
In Germany, about 250 Chechens joined the action held by the Ukrainian Diaspora. Members of the Georgian and Belarusian Diasporas also joined the actions.
