Candidates for President speak about the atmosphere of fear in Nagorno-Karabakh

On July 10, the Stepanakert Officers' House hosted a meeting of Bako Saakyan, candidate for President of Nagorno-Karabakh, with representatives of nongovernmental organizations who complained of poor conditions and asked the candidate for assistance.

The atmosphere of fear has already been stated by two candidates for President of Nagorno-Karabakh - Masis Mailyan and Armen Abgaryan. Deputy Abgaryan, who is positioning himself as a candidate from "the guys who were at war," is indignant with the fact that people are scared. He thinks that there is no need to hold elections in a small Karabakh and set people against each other.

Masis Mailyan said that people are dissuaded to go to meetings with him. The candidate thinks that intimidating people is a method of black PR not against him but against Karabakh.

Meanwhile, candidate Armen Abgaryan made a sensational statement: he is going to win the electoral race, become President and immediately abolish the institute of presidency and incorporate Karabakh into Armenia as one of the regions.
