Yerevan denies Baku’s statement about shelling attack
The information that the Armenian troops fired at the positions of the Azerbaijani army in the Kelbadjar and Lachin Districts does not correspond to reality, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) of Armenia reports.
The “Caucasian Knot” has reported that today, the Ministry of Defence of Azerbaijan has stated that last night, the Armenian troops fired at the Azerbaijani army in the Kelbadjar and Lachin Districts, after which the Azerbaijani militaries opened fire in return.
The statement disseminated by the Ministry of Defence of Azerbaijan and alleging that Armenian soldiers opened fire last night in the direction of the Azerbaijani positions located in the eastern part of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border does not correspond to reality, the Armenian MoD reports on its official website today.
The situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border is relatively stable, the Armenian MoD also reports.
