Woman from Volgograd Region demands to return her mobilized son

The mother of Nikolai Glazkov, who was drafted in the Gorodischensky District, has appealed to the prosecutor's office with a demand to cancel her son's mobilization. Nikolai, 43, suffers from serious illnesses, she has pointed out.

According to Marianna Glazkova, her son, deaf in one ear, was mobilized on September 24. "He served in the army as a private many years ago ... He had severe health problems, a brain concussion and loss of hearing," the "V1.ru" outlet quotes her as saying.

Marianna has added that her son was not diagnosed with deafness, because he had rarely turned to doctors.

Andrei Letunov, the Chief Military Commissar of the Volgograd Region, has promised to look into the situation.

Let us note here that in the Volgograd Region, as well as in other regions of Southern Russia, attempts were made to mobilize people who, due to their age or health status, should not be sent to the combat zone.

Thus, on October 3, Vitaly Kandalov, a 43-year-old Volgograd resident, applied to the court with a demand to lower the category in his military ID. According to his story, the local military commissariat has ignored his health condition, but immediately sent him to a military unit.

On September 23, Alexander Ermolaev, a 63-year-old reserve lieutenant colonel, announced that he had been mobilized, despite his age and illnesses. On the same day he was sent home.
