Tenants of unfinished residential complex in Dagestan ask authorities for help

Two unfinished houses in the Makhachkala residential complex are already partially occupied, but the apartments are not heated in winter, and other owners cannot move into their apartments they had bought, where there is no electricity and water, residents have complained. They called on the Mayor of Makhachkala and the head of Dagestan to help in solving their problems.

Their video appeal is posted on the "AiF Dagestan" Telegram channel. The houses "Southern-1" in the residential complex "New City" was supposed to be commissioned back in 2016; it has not been completed yet, about 30-40% of the apartments are occupied, but there is still no heating; they have promised to connect it for three years. People suffer, children and the elderly get sick," says the appeal.

"There is no gas and no heating in the houses ... We can't move in; the money has been spent; and we ask Salman Dadaev, the Makhachkala Mayor, and Sergey Melikov, the head of Dagestan, for help, to somehow affect the matter," the tenants' representative says in the video. Living in the houses is impossible, he has stressed.
