According to the head of Chechnya, law enforcers had worked out "the operative information about two criminals."

"The militants were blocked and offered to surrender. Trying to break out of the encirclement, they criminals threw a grenade at law enforcers. Both attackers were liquidated by return fire. None of law enforcers or civilians suffered," Ramzan Kadyrov wrote in his Telegram channel.

He has added that "this is all the information." "I ask you not to spread rumours about the unfinished remnants of the bandit grouping; their sudden attack on law enforcers and similar fakes. The criminals have been identified and neutralized," he has written, adding that "Gudermes lives a quiet life."

"We won't allow anyone to disturb the peace of our citizens," Kadyrov has concluded.
