Krasnodar resident arrested for seven days for action at territorial administration
A resident of Krasnodar has parked his car stylized as an American patrol police car near the administration building of the Krasnodar Territory. The court arrested him for seven days having treated his action as an unsanctioned rally.
The man parked his car in front of the administration building on April 4. In court, he failed to explain the motives for his actions. The court has found signs of an administrative offense in his action and sentenced him to a seven-day arrest, the "Interfax" reports.
According to the man, he did not hold any action. "This is not an action, just sports equipment ... I wanted to remind that we have motorsport in the region, which has been forgotten," the "Kuban-24" outlet quotes him as saying.
According to the "BlaBlaWoman" Telegram channel, the action was held with the aim to draw authorities' attention to the destruction of the "White Arrow" car-racing track, where they plan to build a residential complex. Initially, the land plot was transferred to the NGO "Technical Sports Federation" for the construction of a car-racing track, but after a few years the plot occurred in the hands of the developer, the RBC writes.
