Father of many children from Derbent challenges his mobilization
A resident of Derbent has demanded to cancel the decision to mobilize and send him to the special military operation (SMO) zone, pointing out that he, as the father of three children under 16, was entitled to a delay. The case should be considered by a military court, the judge has ruled.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that residents of the North-Caucasian and Southern Federal Districts (NCFD and SFD) have repeatedly stated that, in their opinion, the mobilization of men with serious health problems or those who have reservations from mobilization is unlawful.
Ramaz Magomedov has stated that he is a father of many children, and the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces had announced a deferment due to such reservists, the "Kavkaz.Realii"* project reports.
In November 2022, Magomedov was mobilized and sent to the SMO zone.
A source from the military commissariat (registration and enlistment office) has stated that Magomedov had been declared fit for military service, and his conscription was made in line with the law. The court refused to consider the lawsuit, explaining that, being a military serviceman, Magomedov should apply to the garrison military court.
