Hundreds take part in anti-Israeli rally at Makhachkala Airport

Hundreds of Dagestani residents gathered at the "Uitash" Airport for the arrival of the flight from Tel Aviv, following the calls released in anonymous Telegram channels. The crowd declared that they would not allow Jews to enter the republic. Young people even inspect law enforcers' cars trying to find those arriving from Israel.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that after the escalation of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, Muslims of Northern Caucasus have repeatedly demonstrated their support for Palestinians. Thus, the Muftiates of Dagestan and Karachay-Cherkessia reported on thousands of those who prayed in support of Palestine. In Cherkessk and Khasavyurt, protests were held against the arrival of refugees from Israel to Northern Caucasus.

A Dagestani Telegram channel called for people to go to the airport during the day. The channel administrator also called for tracking cars to their destinations in order to identify those who had arrived.

The hundreds of people who gathered near the airport chanted anti-Semitic slogans. Young people stopped cars leaving the airport and checked passengers, as follows from the video posted in the "Caution, News" Telegram channel.

Policemen prefer not to interfere with this in any way; moreover, in search of Jews, the crowd even checks the law enforcers' paddy wagons. The protesters entered the terminal building without hindrance, the "RusNews" Telegram channel has reported.
