Acquittal verdict on murder case of Sardaryan, a native of Armenia, cancelled
The Supreme Court of Russia has cancelled the non-guilty verdict in the case of murdering Arthur Sardaryan, an Armenian of 19, committed in a Moscow suburban electric train in May 2006, as Simon Tsaturyan, defender of the victim party, reports. "The Court has upheld the victim party's arguments and cancelled the acquittal verdict," he said.
The case was sent to a new consideration by the Moscow Regional Court, the RIA "Novosti" reports.
The "Caucasian Knot" has already informed that Arthur Sardaryan, 19, was brutally killed by a group of skinheads in Moscow in May 2006. Before the eyes of dozens of passengers of the electric train he was six times struck with a knife in his neck and heart area.
