The “Caucasian Knot” has reported that in January 2023, it became known that Zakhar Zaripov, a resident of the Khabarovsk Territory, was arrested on the charges of calling for terrorism. According to the investigators’ version, when addressing the leader of Chechnya in the “Live Journal”, Zakhar Zaripov called for the violation of the territorial integrity of Russia.

The post itself remains on the “LiveJournal”, but access to it is blocked and unavailable to Russian users.

Zakhar Zaripov, who has been recognized as a political prisoner by human rights defenders, has been diagnosed with a cancer. The convict’s advocate intends to demand medical assistance for his client, the “Support for Political Prisoners. Memorial” human rights project reports.
