Comments in social network result in fine imposed on resident of Slavyansk-on-Kuban

The Slavyansk-on-Kuban City Court has fined a local resident by 30,000 roubles, treating his comments posted in the "VKontakte" social network as discredited the Russian Army.

According to the case materials, during the monitoring of the "VKontakte" social network, FSB agents found Anton Kolyadin's comments. Law enforcers concluded that the comments undermined Russia's interests and security.

Mr Kolyadin has explained that in the comments he had expressed his subjective opinion, the above city court has informed in its website.

The "Caucasian Knot" has also reported that in August, a court in the city of Abinsk in the Krasnodar Territory fined Maria Borzova, a streamer, by 40,000 roubles, recognizing that the criticism of the militaries she expressed during a live broadcast on the Internet discredited the Russian Armed Forces.
