Alexei Abramov's wife complains about deterioration of his health in SMO zone in Ukraine

At the special military operation (SMO) zone in Ukraine, Alexei Abramov, a Krasnodar resident, was included into an assault squad, although he can only move on crutches. On the frontline, his legs became very swollen, and his health worsened, his wife Ksenia Abramova has stated. She has noted that appeals to various authorities demanding that her husband be dismissed from the army have not yet yielded results.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on December 7, 2023, Ksenia Abramova said that her husband, who is seeking to cancel the mobilization decision due to his health condition, was sent to Mariupol and had not yet received a referral to the military medical commission.

In August 2023, the commission recognized Abramov as partially fit for military service. His wife said that this July Abramov was brought to the assault unit – the Donetsk Motorized Rifle Brigade. It is known for the fact that soldiers are sent there as punishment for bad behaviour and misconduct.

Her husband's main task is to monitor radio communications. Abramova said that the fighters from her husband's unit were taking drinking water from a local spring, but the water in it had spoiled. The fighters had intestinal problems, and Alexei's legs got swollen. Poor health has a negative impact on her husband's psychological state.
