Krasnodar law enforcers detain restaurant visitor for pro-Ukrainian slogan
A female visitor to a restaurant in Krasnodar shouted a pro-Ukrainian slogan while listening to a patriotic song. Law enforcers identified her and found out during a conversation that she wanted to irritate other visitors.
The woman's identity was established from the recordings; she was detained, the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) for the Krasnodar Territory wrote in its Telegram channel. It turned out that she had earlier been brought to administrative responsibility for listening to too loud music at home. Her neighbours called the police.
At the police station, the woman reported that she was relaxing with a girlfriend; and at the next table there was a group of young people who "watched the video for about two hours, giggling." When, according to her, the song started playing, she decided to irritate them by saying the above slogan. The woman admitted that she understood that using this slogan was illegal, but at that moment she did not think about it. Answering the question of whether she regretted it, the woman said: "I do regret it, really."
The woman faces 15 days of arrest under the article on petty hooliganism.
This February, a court in Stavropol fined Maxim Panchenko, a local resident, finding him guilty of discrediting the Russian Army due to pro-Ukrainian shouts in a bar.
