Kidnapped local resident searched in Chechnya

The law enforcement bodies of Chechnya are searching the persons who kidnapped at night of December 8 a local resident right from his own house in the city of Grozny.

The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was informed about it by a source in the Chechen law enforcement bodies. He said that there were traces of the kidnappers by the moment.

The source has explained: "On December 8, one of local residents addressed the District Interior Unit (ROVD) of the Zavodskoy District of Grozny and informed that on the previous night a group of unknown persons in camouflage who had arrived in two UAZ minivans kidnapped his son from the house in Taganrogskaya Street. The attackers gave no explanations to their actions."

The source gave no answer to the question whether any power agents could have been involved in the accident.
