Ingushetian citizens turn for support to the public of Kabardino-Balkaria

Today, a group of 50 residents of Ingushetia has arrived to Kabardino-Balkaria. The aim of their visit to Nalchik is to draw attention and win support of the public of Kabardino-Balkaria to the problem of human rights in Ingushetia.

The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent reports that among the visitors there are relatives of Maksharip Aushev and Magomed Evloev, who were detained on February 14 and are now kept in the Nalchik SIZO (pre-trial prison) under the charges of organizing disorders in the territory of Ingushetia. The point is the meeting on January 26 in Nazran, which was dispersed by the authorities.

The members of the delegation have informed that starting from 2002 a total of 158 persons of the civil population were kidnapped, and 600 more were murdered, including employees of law enforcement bodies.

After a meeting with journalists, the delegation from Ingushetia held a picket near the Nalchik SIZO.
