Residents of Volgograd voted for Medvedev, having no other choice

On March 2, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent visited three polling stations of Volgograd and talked to voters. Many respondents said that they had voted for Dmitri Medvedev, for having no other choice.

Andrei Smirnov (Station No. 567) expressed his viewpoint extremely briefly: "I voted for my future and the future of my children. There was no choice. Among the candidates, the only worthy person is Medvedev. The others are just clowns. Even in my terrible dream I can't imagine them in President's position."

A father with a daughter was coming out of Polling Station No. 562, located in Gymnasium No. 1. The father presented himself as Vyacheslav: "My daughter has voted. She is 9, but I trust her taste. <...> Earlier, I always ticked the candidate 'Against all'. Now, he is no longer present in the ballot paper, and for me the election has become illegitimate. It's just a kindergarten. If so, let children vote."

Earlier, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent has informed about registration of violations by observers from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation (CPRF). Thus, Alexander Plaksin, coordinator for presidential election and secretary of the CPRF Regional Committee, has informed that he was receiving pretty many complaints.
