Wheelchair invalid hunger-striking in Razdan promises to continue his action in Yerevan

Arshavir Bazinyan, a wheelchair invalid, a Karabakh war veteran and a former fighter of the "Sasun" detachment, which was commanded by Sasun Mikaelyan, now arrested Deputy of the National Assembly of Armenia, who suspended his hunger strike two days ago, has announced its continuation today.

Mr Bazinyan, who kept his hunger strike for 19 days, has now declared that should his demands remain unsatisfied, he will start from April 24, together with other Karabakh war veterans and their wives, a hunger strike in the Freedom Square in Yerevan. He has also warned that should the police interfere into the action, he will continue his hunger strike near the building of the US Embassy in Yerevan. Arshavir Bazinyan has assured journalists that he has a corresponding arrangement with the employees of the US Embassy.

Let us note here that one of these days the hunger-striking invalid was visited in Razdan by the workers of the US Embassy in Yerevan who asked about his demands and his health condition.
