Problem of military and patriotic education of children and young people was discussed during "round table" in regional Duma on August 15.

Representatives of the region's government, bodies of local authorities, ministries, committees, military and patriotic public organizations, mass media, cultural and educational institutions from all over the Stavropol region assembled to share experience, problems and their solutions. 

First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma of the Stavropol region I. Prokopenko said the essential support of the government, especially financial support, is needed for proper patriotic education of the youth. Therefore it had been decided to assemble specialists on the threshold of planning the regional budget for 2004. Their suggestions will be a basis for making common recommendations for the solution of "educational" problems.

    The leader of Chechnya promised Vladislav Bakalchuk, a husband of the richest woman in Russia, that he would not let the Bakalchuk family be destroyed and would “go to the end” to stop the raider takeover of the “Wildberries” Company. Ramzan Kadyrov announced that he had given instructions on the case to Russian State Duma member Adam Delimkhanov.
