Lawyers of victims of terrorist act in Dubrovka lodged complaint to European Court of Human Rights
As Lawyer Lyudmila Trunova said, a complaint was made after the rejection of the Tverskoy Court to answer 24 claims for the compensation of moral damage. The lawyers demand to pay EUR 50,000 to each victim as a compensation for the rights violated.
129 people were killed and more than 700 suffered as a result of the hostage capture in the theatre center in October 2002.

Alexander Gongadze Volny Ross, a Ukrainian citizen, who has served his sentence for organizing a wheelchair run in the town of Kamyshin, will be deported from Russia. He and his wife were fined for violating migration laws; and their deportation is expected next week despite the possibility of persecution in their homeland due to their pro-Russian position.

The Morozovsk District Court has placed Ivan Svistov in custody for six months, accusing him of hooliganism after attempting to set fire to the military commissariat (registration and enlistment office).
