Information about attempt on Kadyrov's life confirmed in Chechnya
It is true that they tried to murder Ramzan Kadyrov, however, not during the last two days but much earlier. The abortive attempt on the Chechen president's life took place early last week, as an informed source in the republic's law enforcement bodies claims.
According to the source, someone from Kadyrov's close relatives attempted his life. It is claimed that the unlucky killer recently returned from Moscow where he is a university student and tried to shoot at the president from a machine gun.
"As far as I know, there was a real attempt on Kadyrov's life. But this happened early last week, rather than during recent days, in the village of Tsentaroy which is the Kadyrovs' clan village. One of his close relatives tried to murder him. The body guards managed to cover the president and shoot the killer. Several of them (Kadyrov's body guards - "Caucasian Knot" comment) are wounded", claims the source.
"On July 28, the village was really completely blocked. No cars were allowed to enter or leave the village", he added. "Although it is hard to say what the reason was ".
