In Georgia, Labourites again call for Saakashvili's resignation

The Labour Party of Georgia has offered all the political parties and organizations of the country to draft and sign a joint general declaration with a demand of immediate resignation of President Mikhail Saakashvili.

Today, Labourites held a briefing in Tbilisi in the square in front of the building of the parliament. They addressed their loud speeches to oppositional forces of the country, calling them to sign the declaration, where point one will be demand of resignation of the incumbent President Mikhail Saakashvili, the "Interfax" reports.

The ITAR-TASS Agency quotes Shalva Natelashvili, Labour Party leader: "President's resignation and early election will enable real steps out of the crisis, to strengthen stability and democracy and set up real preconditions for restoration of the territorial integrity of Georgia."

So far, other opposition parties gave no reaction to this statement of the Labourite leader. Earlier, Shalva Natelashvili declared that Georgian authorities are powerless in the international arena, consequently, the Labour party is going to begin its own dialogue with Russian political circles.
