Paper poll: Saakashvili is to blame for Georgia's problems

The overwhelming majority of the population of Georgia believes that the President shall be made responsible for most of the problems faced by the country. These are the outcomes of the poll published on December 1 by the weekly named "Kviris Palitra" (Weekly Palette).

According to the polling, by the degree of responsibility Mikhail Saakashvili is in the lead with 7.80 points. 89 percent of respondents put maximum possible 8 points in the President's column.

The runner-up is the Parliament of Georgia - 6.11 points, the third place is occupied by the executive branch of power - 5.84 points.

The following places belong to: the United National Movement - 5.41 points, mass media - 3.26 points, the opposition - 3.07 points, people, society - 2.34 points and intellectuals - 2.16 points.

A total of 530 respondents took part in the poll.
