Originators of mass fight in Rostov-on-Don not detained yet

Within the investigation of the criminal case on a student's murder in a mass fight on February 8 in the centre of Rostov-on-Don, nobody is detained so far. The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was informed about it by a source in the Investigatory Department of the ICPO (Investigatory Committee at the Prosecutor's Office) of the Russian Federation for the Rostov Region.

According to the source, the lost student was born in 1989 and studied at the Rostov Humanitarian University.

The other student, who was wounded, was born in 1991 and studies in the Economy, Management and Law College of the Don State Technical University (DSTU). Because of his grave health condition, the young man cannot evidence yet.

The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was told by a source at the DSTU administration that today "the Rector had a meeting with managers of University Departments. The information about the incident was reported to the teachers, and they were instructed to strengthen their upbringing efforts."

So far, there is no confirmation of the fact that skinheads and natives of North Caucasian republics were participants of the fight.

The "Caucasian Knot" has already reported that the mass fight with supposed participation of about 15 persons burst out at 6:40 p.m. in the centre of Rostov-on-Don. As a result of the fight, one student was lost, and one more was wounded and hospitalized.
