Attempt on life of regional administration chief in Dagestan
An attempt was made in Dagestan to assassinate an administration chief in one of the republic's regions.
A car with the chief of the Kizilyurt region of Dagestan, Abdurakhman Gadzhiyev, was fired at from an automatic gun on Saturday, reported the Interior Ministry of Dagestan.
Gadzhiyev was seriously wounded and taken to the reanimation department of the hospital in Kizilyurt. Two security guards of the official were also wounded, the ministry's representative added.
