In Chechnya, skirmish takes place after cancellation of CTO regime
In the high-mountainous Shatoy District of Chechnya, a combat collision burst out between Russian militaries and a group of militants. There is no data about any casualties or victims. The skirmish happened right at the time, when Grozny hosted a rally-concert dedicated to cancellation of the counterterrorist operation (CTO) regime in the republic.
"Yesterday, at about 11 a.m. in the vicinity of Dai village, Shatoy District, servicemen of a subdivision of the Internal Troops of the MIA of Russia, engaged in reconnaissance and search actions in a large forest, confronted a group of militants, about 10 persons strong. After a short skirmish the latter retreated and disappeared in the forest," the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was told at the Chechnya's MIA.
The militia assert that there no victims among servicemen, however, the MIA also can say nothing about militants' losses, although artillery inflicted blows on possible retreat routes of separatists.
