Victims of metro intend to adjudge 41 million roubles

Within the criminal case on terror acts committed in 2004 in Moscow metro, the victims lodged five suits to the Moscow City Court to the total sum of more than 41 million roubles. "We have filed five suits for compensation of moral damage to the total sum of 41,300,000 roubles," advocate Igor Trunov, who is representing the interests of 15 victims in the case, explained.

In the course of court session at the Moscow City Court on the case of metro acts of terror, Mr. Trunov has told, the state prosecutor asked to present evidences proofs. "12 witnesses and 13 victims were interrogated," the advocate stated. The case is considered by a single judge in a closed session, since the case files contain documents stamped as "secret," the "Interfax" reports.

On August 31, 2004, a self-made bomb was exploded by a lady-suicide-terrorist near the "Rizhskaya" Moscow metro station. 10 persons perished. An explosion in the Moscow metro between stations "Avtozavodskaya" and "Paveletskaya" took place in the morning on February 6 2004, during rush hours; 41 persons perished.
