Committee in defence of rights of Azerbaijani ex-Minister of Public Health is dissatisfied with human rights defenders

The case of Rizvan Talybov, chairman of the committee in defence of Ali Insanov's rights, has been delivered for enforcement to the Sumgait Court of Azerbaijan, to Judge Takhmina Khalilova. In near future, a preparatory session on the case is expected, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was told at the committee.

The members of the committee have also expressed their discontent with Azerbaijani human rights defenders who expressed little interest in Talybov's case. By all criteria, R. Talybov is a political prisoner, people at the committee added and called human rights activists and journalists to take active part in judicial sessions on R. Talybov's case.

We remind you that by decision of the Court on Heavy Crimes of Azerbaijan Mr Insanov was sentenced to 11 years of deprivation of freedom with confiscation of property under charges of abuse of service duties, appropriation of state property, bribery and service forgery.
